UX+ is an conference for aspiring and seasoned User Experience professionals.
We invite speakers that are the most renowned UX practitioners and designers, from Southeast Asia all the way to Silicon Valley. This allows our attendees to hear from different point of views, from successful local startups to the most influential firms around the world.
In 2019, the inaugural UX+ Conference was the largest UX event in Asia.
Presented by Google Design, 2019's conference had 1,300+ delegates that gathered in SMX Convention Center, in Manila, Philippines. Speakers from Google, Twitter, Dropbox, and Grab (among others), discussed topics like UX leadership, finding your personal north star, and the importance of cultural context in design.
For our 2nd year, we transformed UX+ Conference into an all-online, two-day event.
2020's speakers came from a variety of perspectives. Talks and topics included psychological safety, diversity and inclusivity in UX, how cultural context matters in UX, design systems and design sprints, among others. We had speakers from Uber, Adobe, Twitch, Shopify, Google, and Salesforce, among others. The 2020 conference and side events had a total of 4,200+ attendees, with Adobe XD as our presenting partner, and Shopify, LottieFiles, and Fiverr as our event sponsors.
In 2021, we launched UX+ University, a live education platform that allows anyone to become User Experience professionals in just 16 weeks, with no upfront cost.
In the 16-week program, students learn and practice the tools, methodologies, and principles of UX Design. Students also get equipped with the knowledge and skills required to start a fulfilling UX Design career. Live classes are conducted online and come with hands-on projects, one-on-one mentorship, design reviews, team collaboration, guest lectures, and networking opportunities. Students finish the program with over 250 hours of learnings and come out job-ready, with career assistance through résumé reviews, job interview preparations, portfolio reviews, and salary negotiation strategies.
